Review

3x3 Eyes Ten no Maki (Heaven Volume or Sky Volume) was the first 3x3 Eyes CD to be released. It is an image album released before the anime series was created. There are four drama tracks (the "stages" listed above) that feature voice actors recreating scenes from the manga. (Notice that the voices of Sanjiyan and Benares are different from the anime voices!) The symphonic music is interesting, since it a bit different from the BGM composed by Kaoru Wada for the anime series. Takada Band is, well, typical Takada Band j-pop, but these are some of their catchier songs. The drama is pretty entertaining even if you can't understand Japanese, as long as you are familiar with the basic 3x3 Eyes storyline. Overall this is one of the best early CDs.
