Review

This is not really a 3x3 Eyes CD, but the song "Holy Eyes" is used in the 3x3 Eyes ~Kyuusei Koushu~ Playstation game. It's not what I expected, but the song is nice. The main track is more of a typical upbeat j-pop song. If you've never seen a Japanese CD single before, you'll notice that the case is fairly narrow. The CD is only about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Kawaii! The CD comes with a mini-poster/lyrics sheet for singing along with the karaoke (off vocal) versions of the songs.

Manami Komori is a singer, voice actress, radio DJ, and karate fighter(?!?). She's the voice actress for Yuihowa, one of the characters in the 3x3 Eyes game. (Yuihowa is the girl in the upper-right corner of the game cover.) The co-host of her radio show, MAMI*OMO Radio Caravan, is Tomohiro Nishimura. He is the voice actor for the 3x3 Eyes character Haan Hazrat, who has not been animated yet but is featured on several drama CDs. Ms. Komori is popular enough to have her own category on Yahoo Japan, if you want more information about her. Thanks to Yukinori Hidano, who was kind enough to provide lots of information about this single and Mami-chan.
